We're introducing contra dance to the Palmetto Bay area. Andy Shore will be the caller for the first event, on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Perrine-Peters Methodist Church, 18301 S. Dixie Hwy. That's a couple of miles east of the Florida Turnpike's Eureka Drive (SW 184th Street) exit. It starts at 7:30 p.m. for beginners, 8 p.m. for experienced dancers.
