Twenty-five years ago, a coworker told me about FOFF as well as the Sarasota Folk club's monthly concerts at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron. I was hooked, but I never dreamed that I'd become this involved. FOFF is a great resource for Folk musicians and artists as well as fans to connect, to find out about events, and to meet fellow folkies. Our newsletter, FOFF Focus, is published on-line with a calendar of events and list of recurring events organized by region.
Our dues-paying members and the people who step up to volunteer allow us to sponsor and promote events and to assist local folk organizations that have a similar mission all over the state. We welcome you to become dues-paying members, and invite you to work with us to make Folk Music, Folk Dance and Folk Arts a part of your community.
