It is with sadness that I inform everyone that our beloved jammer, Bill Bullard, passed away peacefully in the arms of his love, Danu and with his best friend and music partner, Brent, beside him.  Over the two evenings
prior to his death early on the morning of Mar. 8, Susan and I , Danu and her son , Joe, Brent, Bill's sister and brother and other friends and family shared songs and stories of Bill.  As Bill's brother, Marty, said at the bedside of Bill, "he is the best person I've ever known."

Bill was a gentle, kind spirit who brought laughter and lovely music and support to all who knew him.  He faced his inevitable death from liver failure with grace.  I was fortunate to spend a couple of hours with him on a saturday two weeks before he passed away.  We talked about friendship and living and dying and I shared some songs with him as he had with Brent earliar that same day. He will be deeply ,missed. If and when plans for an organized memorial are made we will let everyone know.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help Danu with past, current and future expensives by sending donations made out to Danu Belay to PO Box 5024, Sarasota, Fl 34277.  Bill was truly blessed to have such a devoted partner and advocate.  So, let's share our abundant blessings with Danu as we are able..Ishmael
